Arrival by public transportation

From Vienna Airport

• Take the airport bus to Schwedenplatz, change to U1 direction Reumannplatz, and exit at Taubstummengasse. Leave the underground station by the exit Taubstummengasse at your right, cross the Taubstummengasse, and walk past the pharmacy. The journey takes in total around 35 minutes.
• Take the train either City Airport Train (CAT) or standard train S7 to Wien Mitte, change to U3 direction Ottakring, at Stephansplatz change to U1 direction Reumannplatz, and exit at Taubstummengasse. Leave the underground station by the exit Taubstummengasse at your right, cross the Taubstummengasse, and walk past the pharmacy. The journey may take up to 50 minutes depending on the train service. Alternatively, from Wien Mitte change to U4 direction Hütteldorf, and exit at Karlsplatz. Follow the signs towards the line U4 and leave the underground station at Resselpark. Cross the park towards the church and follow this map. Again the journey may take up to 50 minutes including a 10 minutes walk.

• Take U1 direction Leopoldau and exit at Taubstummengasse. Leave the underground station by the exit Taubstummengasse at your right, cross the Taubstummengasse, and walk past the pharmacy. The journey takes around 10 minutes.

• Take U3 direction Simmering, at Stephansplatz change to U1 direction Reumannplatz, and exit at Taubstummengasse. Leave the underground station by the exit Taubstummengasse at your right, cross the Taubstummengasse, and walk past the pharmacy. The journey takes around 15 minutes.

Arrival by taxi or sharing a car (note that COST does not reimburse taxis unless used between 11pm and 7am)

• Taxi ranks are located in front of the airport, main station, and around the stations Wien Mitte and Westbahnhof.
• Alternatively, you may share a car via, e.g, DriveNow or Car2Go.
