By train and bus

From the Brussel airport to Brugge:

Arrive in Brussel airport (Zaventem)
Buy ticket to Brugge (need to go down to the station, follow train signs)
Take "airport city express" train to Brussel Central Station (actually, you may get off at Brussel North or Midi also).
Take a train to Brugge from there:
All trains with destination Oostende, Knokke-Blankenberge are OK (take an IC --Inter City-- train, other types of trains make too frequent stops). All these trains leave from platform 4 (in Brussels Central). Train ride to Brugge: +/- 1h

From the Brugge train station to Snellegem:

You can take a bus right in front of the main exit of the Brugge train station. Local (Brugge) busses stop at the curb closest to the station. Parallel to that there is an "island" where the non-local busses stop.

You should either get the "Brugge - Leke" bus and get off at "Snellegem dorp", at the church (from there, it's a 2min walk to our house) or get the "Brugge - Gistel - Oostende" bus and get off at "halfweghuis", from there it's a 1km walk to the center of Snellegem.

I will try to type in more details if the need arises and when I find time. I may also include the bus schedule (not difficult as there are so few buses).

By car

I had an elaborate description and a disk crash wiped it out. Still have to look for some old backup.
