some criteria for a good presentation

presentation slides style
- not too much information (7 lines) per slide
- visual where possible (Zen presentations are optional though)
- references to literature on (bottom of) page of use
presentation content
- self-introduction
- overview of presentation
- references complete (and "inline", at bottom of slide where used, not at the end)
- tried things oneself or literal copy of examples from paper/book/online?
presentation clarity ("short, sweet and to the point")
- easy to understand
- covers the subject completely
- why? what? how?
- precision (no broad, sweeping statements)
presenter
- clarity of speech
- presentation style (engaging/boring)
