I am currently doing a three year Post-Doc in the MSDL-lab and the CoSys-lab at the University of Antwerp. I am working on multi-paradigm modelling methods techniques and tools for design-space exploration, consistency management and software-control co-design for mechatronic and CPS systems in the MBSE4Mechatronic SBO project. I am also involved in the Flanders Make research institute. Before this position I was a Post-Doc at McGill University working on the NECSIS project. I received my PhD from the University of Antwerp in the ansymo-group.

My main research interest is multi-paradigm modelling of software-intensive systems. During my PhD I focussed on the deployment of software-intensive systems by, amongst other, creating a simulation environment in DEVS, automatically calibrating this simulation environment and using model transformation for design-space exploration.
