Lab 4: RL and RC High and Low Pass
Filters
In Lab 4, a design problem has to be solved. The user is asked to design a low pass and a high pass filter
with a cutoff frequency of approximately 1000 Hz, using the components available in the toolbin. The
frequency characteristic is verified by measuring amplitude of input and output signal over at least three
decades of frequency around the half power point. Furthermore, the rise time of the low pass filter is
measured.
