Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is often associated with modelling languages like SysML that rely in large part on natural language or on semi-formal notations. This means that the resulting models have limited potential for simulation and analysis. The objective of the SIM4MBSE workshop is to share ideas and experiences on how simulation can support and complement MBSE, bringing its benefits far beyond what modelling alone can achieve.
