28th of March 2011: So far, I've had one meeting with prof. Vangheluwe. We discussed several subjects for a research internship and a Master thesis. Finally, we agreed on MetaDepth and Android. I will keep track of my progress in the Research section.

3th of May 2011: Today we had another meeting. After reading some papers on deep metamodeling (an overview of the papers I've read can be found on the Research page), we had to talk about on how to continue. This meeting, we agreed on doing some collaborative work with MetaDepth and Android. I got two more papers to read, Steve Easterbrook, Anthony Finkelstein, Jeff Kramer and Bashar Nuseibeh; Coordinating distributed ViewPoints: the Anatomy of a Consistency Check, 1994 and Juan de Lara, Esther Guerra, Hans Vangheluwe; A Multi-View Component Modelling Language for Systems Design: Checking Consistency and Timing Constraints. The final result of my research internship will consist of a synthesis of the several approaches of deep meta-modeling (which can be found in the papers I've read), the advantages of MetaDepth and how this relates to other tools (AToM3, MetaEdit+).
